Medical Waste/Sharps Non CDL Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver to operate a 26-foot box truck across the Richmond, VA area. Your main responsibilities will include collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare facilities and providing excellent customer service daily.

This position offers a full-time, permanent role with a competitive rate of $22.00 per hour. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 5AM to 3PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships
  • Operate vehicles safely, including 26 ft box trucks
  • Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate any issues
  • Load and unload, organize truck per schedule
  • Manage routes efficiently, following leadership instructions
  • Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and conduct roadside inspections
  • Heavy lifting required
Qualifications:
  • Experience driving 26-foot box trucks
  • Manual handling experience in previous roles
  • Experience with vehicle pre-trip and post-trip evaluations
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible, customer-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance and roadside inspections
