Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Ellenwood, GA is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Non CDL Driver for our medical waste treatment facility. You will perform duties from checking in containers and paperwork to weighing incoming waste and recertifying 55‑gal drums, with occasional 28‑ft box truck driving.

This is a full‑time, first‑shift role offering benefits from day one, overtime opportunities, and a stable schedule. A valid DOT medical card and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 28 ft box truck.
• Valid DOT medical card and clean driving record.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and handle 55 gallon drums.
• Experience in driving, loading/unloading and ensuring route compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 28 ft box truck as needed.
• Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers.
• Load and operate the autoclave machine when required.
• Recertify 55 gallon drums and manage waste containers.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customers.
• Comply with DOT regulations and perform logs/inspections.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Associate/Non CDL Driver for our medical waste treatmentfacility in Ellenwood, GA.

A Warehouse Associate has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, recertifying 55 gallon drums, and weighing incoming sharps containers.

• Driving a 28ft box truck when needed
• Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Recertifying 55 Gallon drums
• Counting universal waste (lightbulbs, batteries, etc.) and adding them to the manifest
• Experience in training others
• Lifting up to 75 lbs and handling 55 gallon drums
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• NonCDL license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 2 years experience operating 28 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year MVR review
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
