Daniels Health seeks a safety‑focused Class A Driver to support operations in the Grand Junction, CO area. Primary focus is driving, transporting medical waste and sharps containers, with weekly trips to Denver for trailer exchange (no overnights).

The role includes spending approximately 12 hours per week inside hospital environments, loading/unloading containers, and maintaining safety and infection control. Benefits and overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license with hazmat endorsement and clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving tractor trailers or straight trucks.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Comfortable working inside hospitals and clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive straight trucks/tractors 26’–53’, transporting medical waste and sharps containers.
• Manage routes with on‑time, efficient service and communicate changes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT regulations.
• Travel weekly to Denver for trailer exchange (no overnights).
• Interact professionally with hospital staff in fast‑paced healthcare environments.
