Job summary

Anteris Technologies in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Medical Sewer on a contract-to-hire basis. You will perform precise hand sewing on bovine tissue heart valves, following SOPs and quality standards, under supervision of Production Supervisor and with support from Manufacturing Engineers.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work in a cleanroom, and experience with delicate hand sewing. Shift is 5a–1p; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical device assembly.
• Experience in medical sewing is a plus.
• Proficiency in performing intricate and delicate hand‑sewing tasks.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards related to medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work the following shift: 5a – 1p.
• Ability to work without visa sponsorship of any kind

Responsibilities

• Sewing Operations: Perform intricate hand sewing on bovine tissue heart valves using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect sewn components for integrity and compliance with standards.
• Documentation: Maintain batch records and production logs.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers, QC, and production staff to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow FDA and ISO guidelines and company procedures.
• Training and Development: Assist in mentoring junior sewing staff.
• Continuous Improvement: Support efficiency and quality improvements.
• General workspace housekeeping.
