Job summary

Hutchinson Health is seeking a Medical Unit Technician to join our care team. This paraprofessional role provides direct patient care under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN and supports clerical tasks to help streamline patient services.

The 0.6 FTE overnight position includes 12-hour shifts with every third weekend, and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must maintain Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry status and relevant EMS credentials.

Qualifications

• Current status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Current EMT Certification or Paramedic License.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date if not current.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN.
• Provide clerical support to facilitate patient care.

Work Schedule

• Completion of ongoing training requirements specific to the departments served.
• BLS (if not current, withing 30 days of start date)
