Job summary

Hutchinson Health is seeking a Medical Unit Technician to join our care team on the overnight shift as a .6 FTE, with every 3rd weekend. The Unit Technician provides direct patient care and clerical support under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN to facilitate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry is required.
• EMT Certification or Paramedic License is acceptable and will be verified.
• Basic life support (BLS) training is required within 30 days of start date if not current.

Job Summary: The Unit Technician is a paraprofessional who acts under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN to provide direct patient care, clerical support and other functions to facilitate patient care.

Work Schedule : .6 FTE - Overnight shift with every 3rd weekend (12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications:

• Current status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry, current EMT Certification or Paramedic License (will be primary source verified by HR).
• Completion of ongoing training requirements specific to the departments served.
• BLS (if not current, within 30 days of start date)
