MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company seeking a Logistics Service Representative / Medical Driver in Lexington, KY. You will drive a company-owned vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical supplies, and maintain safety and accurate delivery records.

Requirements include 19+ with 3 years active license, strong customer service, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work evenings Monday to Friday 4:00pm-12:00am. Training provided and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Dependability and reliability are required for consistent performance.
• Familiarity with technology and scanning devices is preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety standards closely.
• Ability to plan efficient routes between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Excellent driving history is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on location.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of the day driving a company-owned vehicle transporting specimens, records, and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Adhere to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving and courteous behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Route assignments may vary and be reassigned as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support a MedSpeed team culture.
