Job summary

Ruby Medical Transit is seeking full- and part-time medical transport drivers to help clients get to and from appointments. We value compassion, reliability, and safety.

Must be 25+, have a valid license, and be able to pass a background check. Residents of the United States, with willingness to work flexible hours, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 25+ with a valid license and able to pass a background check.
• No DWI in the past 10 years and US resident.
• Capable of assisting clients in wheelchairs and loading/unloading safely.
• Able to operate a smartphone and stay punctual for appointments.
• Provide friendly, patient, and reliable transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from medical appointments as assigned.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections each day.
• Assist clients in wheelchairs and ensure safe transfer in/out of the vehicle.
• Maintain punctuality and professional customer service at all times.

Skills

Job description

Ruby Medical Transit is a non emergency medical transportation company. We are seeking full and part-time drivers to assist in getting our clients to and from their appointments. We provide a service to a vulnerable population that requires a compassionate, patient, and kind person to apply for this position. Safety is also one of our top priorities. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate days off as needed. We welcome retirees, veterans, and stay home moms who are looking for an extra income to apply.

Responsibilities of medical transport driver

• **Must be 25 years old with a valid driver's license. No CDL required.
• **Must live and reside in the United States
• **Must be able to pass a background check
• ** No DWI's in the past 10 years
• **Must be able to physically push clients in wheelchairs as needed to get to and from appointments
• *Must be able to load and unload clients in a wheelchair van. We do have a winching system but you need to be able to do it manually as well. Paid training will be provided.
• *Be able to use a smartphone or be willing to be trained
• *Be prompt and on time for the client's appointments
• *Good customer service
• *Willingness to be flexible in scheduling as the day unfolds
• *Pre and post-trip vehicles each day
• *Be available to drive in all-weather conditions
• *Good attendance and a desire to do your best
