Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Transcript in Pathology to support pathologists, clinicians, and lab staff. This 24 hours per week role involves accessioning cases, transcribing reports, and maintaining patient information with careful data entry and proofreading.

You will work with information systems and dictation equipment to ensure timely accessions and accurate diagnoses. The position is on-site in Detroit, MI with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

As a Medical Transcript in Pathology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of anatomic pathology case accessions. You will support pathologists, clinicians, and laboratory staff by transcribing clinical histories, triaging cases, and maintaining critical patient information. Your work directly contributes to the quality and timeliness of patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
