Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med-Tele unit to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions. You will monitor telemetry, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.

You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care is preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and families effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and assess patients for clinical changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team and document in EMR.
