Demonstrates safe and competent use of equipment and software to carry out duties. 2. Includes; accurate entry of patient information and specimen information into software systems such as LIS & EMR. 3. Nurture relationships will prospective students and manage ongoing relationships utilizing career fairs, and tours with Public Schools and surrounding colleges for future recruitment of Medical Laboratory Scientist. 4. Performs testing ensuring that instrumentation is operating within established guidelines, including maintenance and troubleshooting as assigned. 5. Administrates in Clinical Laboratory Science program; coordinates the preparation of teaching materials; maintains student files; calculates grades; evaluates students and instructors performance. 6. Acts as primary contact to resolve problems with instructors, students and the program. 7. Performs phlebotomies and urine drug screens as requested including special collections. 8. Contributes to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective efficient and safe care. Actively participates in the improvement of Laboratory quality indicators and outcomes. Such activities may include participating in professional organizations or attending instrumentation training. 9. Assists in writing and documenting new procedures and implementing new instrumentation. Reviews procedures as requested. 10. Instructs students as required.# **Join us. Join great.
