LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join a hospital laboratory in Bradenton, FL. This full-time night/evening shift (rotating weekends) performs stat and routine testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology, ensuring accurate and timely results.

The role requires Florida licensure, national certification (ASCP preferred), an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and at least 3 years hospital lab experience.

Formación

• NS certification as Medical Technologist (ASCP preferred).
• Florida State Licensure as MT required (minimum 3 lab areas; all areas preferred).
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Blood Bank experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology.
• Follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Apply laboratory science knowledge and independent judgment to deliver reliable test results.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and competency in assigned laboratory areas.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed.
• Support department goals related to quality, patient safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Compensation- $27.09 - $37.92/ Hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to perform both routine and urgent laboratory testing in a hospital setting. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accurate and timely test results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
• Follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Apply laboratory science knowledge and independent judgment to deliver reliable test results
• Maintain required licensure, certifications, and competency in assigned laboratory areas
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed
• Support department goals related to quality, patient safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
