Job description

Seeking a Medical Technologist/Scientist or Medical Lab Technician for a permanent position!

This individual will be responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results. Testing will include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. The role involves reporting results according to established procedures and participating fully in quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and management standards set by departments and agencies such as JCAHO, CAP, and CLIA. The individual will also perform specimen collection as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Permanent position.
2. Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
3. Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university OR a bachelor degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
4. At least 1 year of relevant full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
5. ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
