Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join our team. This role performs routine and complex laboratory procedures, monitors instruments, and ensures accurate results to support patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science (MLS preferred) and relevant testing experience, with potential certification expectations as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join our team.

Work Schedule: Thursday - Sunday 12pm-10:30pm Central Time

Job Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree

Preferred Qualification:

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• ASCP or AMT certification
• 5 year or more of clinical laboratory Toxicology testing experience

Additional Job Standards

• Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Work From Home Requirements

• Private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace
• Agree to include home address in case reporting (CMS requirement)
• Internet 100 Mbps minimum
• Ability to work remote in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment

**Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour plus shift differential

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.
