Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures accreditation standards (CAP, AABB, TJC, etc.) are met and quality, efficiency, and safety maintained.
• Tracks and resolves problems; reviews results and clerical errors before reporting to medical records.
• Assigns work, delegates responsibility, and ensures timely completion and reporting.
• Participates in writing and reviewing policies and procedures.
• Performs competency assessments to ensure staff meet accreditation requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree with MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), HTL(ASCP), CT(ASCP) or equivalent
