Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) to provide laboratory services per hospital standards and mission to deliver Sacred Work. The MT will maintain instrument performance, participate in QA/QC and communicate critical results to the care team.

A Bachelor's degree or MLS/CLS credentials are required, with MT training completion preferred. Experience in a clinical laboratory within the last 10 years and CLIA high complexity qualification or eligibility with

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following accepted practices and standards.
• Participate in quality assurance, QC, and proficiency testing.
• Communicate critical results promptly to care team with documentation.
• Perform shift start-up, quality controls, and instrument maintenance.
