Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform accurate laboratory testing and report results for patient care. You will ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to a world-class laboratory environment with Mercy Service Standards.

The role emphasizes timely test processing, quality control, and strong customer service when interacting with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree required; MLT/MLS certification or equivalent within 6 months.
• Alternatively a Bachelor's degree that meets cert agency requirements or completion of a 50-week military medical lab training program.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; 3 years clinical lab experience; MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, precise, timely laboratory tests and report results.
• Evaluate and report test results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality standards and participate in quality control activities.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with Mercy Service Standards.
