Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist who helps with diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions through lab testing.

You will perform accurate, precise, and timely laboratory tests and report results while maintaining compliance with quality standards. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, Mercy Signature Service, and teamwork within a world-class laboratory.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree.
• Certifications: MLT or MLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire OR Bachelors degree, in a major that meets a certification agency’s requirements OR Completion of a 50-week U.S. military medical laboratory training course
• Education: Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, precise, and timely laboratory tests.
• Evaluate and report test results while assuring compliance and meeting all regulatory requirements.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills in line with Mercy Signature Service in all internal and external customer interactions.
