Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will work the 3rd shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 7-on/7-off rotation, with a pay rate of $27.48–$34.36 per hour and incentives for eligible candidates.

The role requires at least a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in laboratory science, completion of an accredited CLT training program, and Florida licensure as a Medical Technologist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in laboratory technology, chemical, or biological sciences.
• Successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program.
• State of Florida Medical Technologist licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing for all patient types, accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct waived to high complexity tests and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality control, equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Prioritize workload to meet patient and department needs and contribute to process improvements.
• Demonstrate strong customer service with patients, staff and stakeholders.
