Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking Medical Technologists to join our laboratory across multiple locations including Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Estero. Positions available for day, evening and night shifts with full-time and part-time options.

You will perform clinical laboratory testing from waived to high complexity, participate in quality control, and help with process improvements while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in laboratory technology, chemical, or biological sciences.
• Completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program.
• Medical Technologist License in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently for all patient types.
• Conduct a variety of tests from waived to high complexity, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality control and equipment maintenance to uphold standards.
• Prioritize workload to meet patient needs and keep colleagues supported.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
