Status: Full Time

Position Overview:

The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory testing and interpreting the results. The role includes responsibilities such as quality control, instrument maintenance, conducting department-related special studies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inventory, and providing training and competency assessments for staff. The position requires moderate independent judgment, critical thinking, high accuracy, and a broad knowledge of laboratory theory and concepts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences, equivalent education, or military training as per the latest CLIA regulations.
• National certification by ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent, required within 6 months of hire.
