Job summary

Trinity Health’s St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a full-time night shift. You will perform and report laboratory procedures to support physicians and deliver quality patient care.

Requirements include MT/MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS), a BS in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences (or an accepted alternate MT pathway), a high school diploma, and at least 1 year hospital lab experience.

Qualifications

• MT or MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS) required.
• High school diploma; BS in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, with 2 years' experience or alternate MT pathway.
• At least 1 year of hospital lab experience preferred.

Description

MLT/MT: Medical Lab Technologist or Medical Technologist, Fulltime, Nightshift position in the Laboratory at St Marys’ Hospital in Athens, GA.

Scheduled Hours

Nightshift- 10:00pm to 6:30am

What you will do

Accurately Performs and reports laboratory procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the physician’s in providing quality patient care.

What you will need

Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT or MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS)

Education: High School Diploma, B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 2 years' experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT may be substituted for degree.

Experience: Must have at least 1yr exp as an MLT or MT. Previous Lab experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
