Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA, seeks a Medical Lab Technologist or Medical Technologist for a full-time night shift in the Laboratory. Schedule: 10:00pm to 6:30am. You will perform and report laboratory procedures to support physicians and provide quality patient care.

Requirements include MT/MLT licensure (ASCP, AMT, NCA, or HHS), a High School Diploma and a B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences (with 2 years' experience or an alternate MT pathway).

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT or MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS).
• Education: High School Diploma; B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences; 2 years' experience or alternate MT pathway.
• Experience: At least 1 year as MLT or MT; hospital lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs and reports laboratory procedures to support quality patient care.
• Work the Night Shift from 10:00pm to 6:30am in the Laboratory at St Marys’ Hospital in Athens, GA.

MLT/MT: Medical Lab Technologist or Medical Technologist, Fulltime, Nightshift position in the Laboratory at St Marys’ Hospital in Athens, GA. Scheduled Hours: Nightshift- 10:00pm to 6:30am

What you will do:

Accurately Performs and reports laboratory procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the physician’s in providing quality patient care.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT or MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS)
• Education: High School Diploma, B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 2 years' experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT may be substituted for degree.
• Experience: Must have at least 1yr exp as an MLT or MT. Previous Lab experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
