Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System invites qualified candidates to join our Laboratory team in Marlette, MI as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician. This full-time day position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to work across multiple laboratory disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds an AS or BS in the MT/CLS/MLS area, is ASCP/AMT-HEW certified or eligible, and has experience across laboratory areas.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferably MT/CLS/MLS
• Registered with ASCP or AMT-HEW, or registry eligible
• Previous experience in all areas of the laboratory

Responsibilities

• The primary purpose of this position is to perform various laboratory analyses in the area of blood banking, coagulation, microbiology, hematology, urinalysis and serology in accordance with applicable standards to assure quality laboratory service.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferably as MT/CLS/MLS


• Registered with ASCP or AMT-HEW, or registry eligible

• Ability to positively interact at all levels of the organization and with all physicians proactively

Responsibilities
