This full-time MT/MLT position is an evening shift working primarily from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday (on-call) rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high-complexity immunohematology testing (blood typing, cross-matching, antibody identification).
• Conduct blood component quality control testing.
• Component processing and preparation of blood products.

Qualifications

Option 1: Medical Technologist (MT)

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or in a chemical, physical, or biological science, with successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program.

Option 2: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Associate degree in Medical Technology or in a chemical, physical, or biological science, with successful completion of a NAACLS or ABHES-accredited MLT program.
