Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician

In this position, you will perform and interpret tests at all complexity levels, aiding in patient care decisions. This role offers extensive hands-on experience with top researchers and specialists.

Schedule: Days from 6:00AM—6:30PM, with on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, and reporting.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge and adhere to quality control policies.
• Ensure proper maintenance of instruments and equipment.
• Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education.
• Identify and resolve test performance issues.
• Train and educate students, employees, and residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant science or meet CLIA qualifications.
• Foreign degrees require translation and recognition documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or eligible.
• Microbiology laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of FDA audit processes.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Visual acuity, color differentiation, fine motor skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, light lifting, exposure to hazards.
