Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Freeman West Laboratory on the evening shift. You will perform laboratory tests and analyses to support diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention in a high-volume hospital setting.

Medical Technologist - Laboratory | Freeman West | Full-Time Evenings page is loaded## Medical Technologist - Laboratory | Freeman West | Full-Time Eveningslocations: 1102 W 32nd Street Freeman Hospital Westtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR112336**Our Mission**To improve the health of the communities we serve through contemporary, innovative, quality healthcare solutions.**What You'll Do**Responsible for performing laboratory tests and analysis to provide data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.* Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month* Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory* Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women's Pavilion* There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals**Schedule**Full-Time, Evening Shift**Requirements*** Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) by a nationally recognized Accreditation Agency* High Complexity Testing requirement: Earned Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
