An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist II to join their Microbiology Lab team. This role involves performing and interpreting complex clinical laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing essential support for clinical activities. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences and have a strong background in clinical lab experience. Requires a Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences. Requires a minimum of 3 years of clinical lab experience, with a preference for 5 years. Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency as a Med Technologist, Med Technician, or microbiology categorical or specialty certification is preferred.
Under the general direction of the Technical Supervisor, provides ancillary support for clinical activities by performing and interpreting moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests as defined under CLIA '88.

Education: Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, including a supervised internship or a degree in an applied science with certification.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Preferred certification by ASCP, NCA, or equivalent, with specific agency requirements outlined.
Experience: 2 years in clinical lab for those with a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry; 1 year for those with a degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of high complexity testing, regulatory compliance, manual dexterity, and communication skills.
Work involves onsite 40 hours weekly during 1st shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. No remote work.
