Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform STAT and routine clinical testing using manual and automated analyzers. You will report results promptly and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role supports testing operations across departments, with shift flexibility including evenings and weekends. Florida license required or eligible; ASCP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field and completion of an accredited program.
• Florida CLS license or eligible; state license in relevant areas as required.
• Experience with manual and automated testing and reporting patient results.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT and routine laboratory testing on biological specimens using manual and automated analyzers.
• Report accurate patient results in a timely manner and coordinate with physicians, nurses and others.
• Participate in operational support to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
