Tenet Healthcare seeks a Medical Technologist I for the Walk-in Draw Lab in Troy, MI. The incumbent performs quantitative and qualitative lab tests under supervision, analyzes results, and maintains testing records.

The role supports high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field, and registration eligibility with an approved agency within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an approved college or university or equivalent in medical technology or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year medical laboratory technologist experience in acute care is preferred.
• Registered or registry eligible with ASCP, NCA, AMT or CSMLS within 12 months of hire; licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests on patient specimens.
• Analyze test results and prepare samples for testing; maintain records and validate solutions and reagents.
