Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree and certification scores as per state/federal guidelines.
• Passing score on Clinical Laboratory Proficiency examination approved by HHS (HEW).
• 0–2 years of acute care laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high complexity tests with accurate result reporting.
• Adheres to quality control procedures and documentation.
• Performs instrument checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions and reports issues.
• Maintains safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Communicates test results and equipment status with staff.
• Assists with proficiency testing and regulatory data collection.
• Collects urine drug screens and performs phlebotomy as needed.
