Freeman Health System in Springdale, AR, is seeking a Laboratory MT/MLS professional for full-time work in a busy clinical laboratory. You will perform routine and specialized tests on blood and body fluids, ensure accuracy through strict QC, and participate in instrument maintenance and policy education for new staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, problem-solving skills, and strong time management.

• Performs instrument function checks and preventive maintenance procedures according to department policies and procedures.
• Maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
• Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures.
• Collects chain of custody urine drug screens as required.
• Assists in all laboratory areas as needed to maintain appropriate patient care.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Possesses problem solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job
• Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's in medical technology from an accredited institution
• One year acute care experience MT/MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), CLS (NCA), HEW or equivalent certification
