Description

As a Medical Technologist, you support our life saving mission by providing high-quality and timely coagulation testing that directly impacts patient care. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Technologist to perform specialized testing in our Coagulation Laboratory.

What you can expect:

Schedule: Days Monday-Friday

Once trained (6 months)-will rotate on call (1x every 6 weeks)

We're looking for someone who can:
  • Perform a wide range of routine and specialized coagulation assays (i.e. PT, aPTT,D-dimer, Factor assays, Lupus anticoagulant, etc)
  • Analyze, verify and report results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure quality control and instrument maintenance are completed and documented per regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical Lab science required OR equivalent education, training and /or experience with certification as a MT/MLS by a recognized certified agency (i.e. ASCP).
  • Certification as a MT/MLS required or must receive within 6 mos of hire OR CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing.
  • No experience required (experience from school program with a full year of internship would suffice for this position).
