Job Description

The Medical Technologist I performs essential duties related to clinical subspecialties such as Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift. Specific skills are required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry, and Point of Care testing. For Customer Service roles, responsibilities include reference lab test processing and result reporting.

Requirements
  1. One year of clinical laboratory experience preferred (student experience acceptable).
  2. Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred.
  3. Qualifications for high complexity testing as evaluated against CLIA '88 regulations (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 493.1489).
  4. ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.
