Statement of Purpose:

Responsible for testing laboratory specimens and reporting results in all areas of the core laboratory. Experience with automation and middleware is a plus. Follows laboratory policies and procedures and maintains quality control practices in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Education: AAS Degree in Medical Technology required; MLS or equivalent; BS in Medical Technology from an accredited school or equivalent preferred.
• Certification/License: MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in a high, complex laboratory automation environment; basic computer knowledge.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid according to hospital policy.
