Job summary

UP Health System Marquette is seeking a Medical Technologist - General Lab for a 1.0 FTE position with 40 hours per week on varied shifts. This MAST union role includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

As a Medical Technologist, you will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease states, and report to the Director of Laboratory Services. You will work in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment dedicated to community health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred.
• Requires critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license.
• BLS-HCP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease states.
