Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician for the Day shift. You will perform routine testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology and Microbiology, handling specimens, recording results, and ensuring timely reporting to support patient care.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (MT preferred) and certification within 1 year; two years of clinical internship/experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (MT preferred).
• Certification by a nationally recognized registry within 1 year of employment is preferred.
• Two years of clinical internship/experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology and Microbiology testing.
• Receive and process specimens; examine and record test results.
• Analyze results for clinical significance and ensure quality control; alert appropriate personnel to abnormal results.
