Responsibilities

The Medical Technologist provides professional, competent, safe, and appropriate direct patient care in the analysis of samples from patients of all ages, from newborns and older. Responsibilities include managing all documentation related to testing and results, communication between the Laboratory and ancillary and off-campus sites (both verbal and hardcopy), and maintaining professional interactions with hospital departments, medical staff, and the public in line with the hospital's mission and philosophy. Demonstrates Service Excellence. Other duties as assigned.
