Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) seeks a Medical Technologist to provide clinical applications support for laboratory instrumentation in the Modesto, CA area. The role focuses on implementation, training, and ongoing support of the company's diagnostic products for clinical labs.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Medical Technology or related field, MT (ASCP), and at least 3 years MT experience, with strong QC/Westgard and CLSI IQCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS Medical Technology or related field.
• MT (ASCP Certification).
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Strong understanding of QC/Westgard rules.
• Knowledge of CLSI validation protocols.
• Familiarity with IQCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must reside in the greater Modesto, CA area (no relocation assistance provided).
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support on the company's lab instrumentation to clients in the greater Modesto, CA area
• Assist with implementation and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and applications
• Support quality control processes, including QC/Westgard rules compliance
• Apply CLSI validation protocols and IQCP practices as needed
• Travel overnight as required to support clients within the region
