Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG, seeks a Medical Technologist to provide clinical applications support for its lab instrumentation across the greater San Francisco, CA area. You will ensure equipment operates per QC protocols and CLSI validation standards, and complete training on the manufacturer's products.

Requirements include a BS in Medical Technology, MT (ASCP) certification, and a minimum of 3 years' MT experience.

Qualifications

• BS Medical Technology or related field required.
• MT (ASCP Certification) required.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Residency in the greater SF area; no relocation offered.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support on the lab instrumentation throughout the greater San Francisco, CA area.
• Apply strong knowledge of QC/Westgard rules, CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and related regulatory requirements.
• Complete company-provided training on the manufacturer's products.
• Undertake some overnight travel as required to support clients in the region.
