Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living is currently hiring a Med Tech to administer medications per physician orders, document administrations, and communicate with pharmacies and families. The role supports residents with compassionate care in a senior living setting in Chatsworth, CA.

The ideal candidate has MedTech experience or certification, strong medication administration skills, and 1–2 years in assisted living or skilled nursing.

Qualifications

• MedTech experience or certification.
• Experience in administering medications.
• Min 1-2 years worked in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• BLS/CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Notify pharmacy or family when medications need refilling.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report any side effects to the Supervisor.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.

• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.

• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.

• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.

• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.

• Follow facility Residents’ Rights policies and procedures at all times.

• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.
