Job summary

United Future is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician for our Newark/Gratiot, OH facility. Join a top hospital system and contribute to high-volume laboratory testing in a brand-new lab with state-of-the-art equipment.

We offer a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with competitive hourly pay, shift differentials for evenings/nights/weekends, a sign-on bonus, and full benefits. MT/CLS or MLT/CLS (ASCP) certification is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician program (required)
• MT/CLS (ASCP) or MLT/CLS (ASCP) (required)
• Blood Bank experience is a plus
• Will consider new grads if you’ve completed a clinical in a high-volume lab

Responsibilities

• You will perform various clinical laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases by following procedures, operating, and maintain equipment as directed.
