Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Hematology night shift technologist for its Hematology department. You will perform a wide range of tests including CBC with differential, urinalysis, coagulation, HbA1c, and related duties as part of a patient-focused lab team.

The role requires a BS in Medical Technology or an equivalent and ASCP certification, with 1 year of high-complexity testing experience. Shift is 3rd (US). Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of lab training/experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general lab equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, pipettes, etc.)

This opportunity is full-time during third shift.

Hematology night shift technologist. This position within the hematology department encompasses a wide variety of testing, including CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c.

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
