You will analyze specimens, operate instruments, and ensure quality control to support timely clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens.
• Ensures major automated equipment is operational with calibration and troubleshooting.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records.
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory leaders.
• Assists in evaluating and documenting validation of new procedures and equipment.

Education

BS in biological or chemical science (as defined by CLIA)
