Job Description

Performs laboratory analyses accurately, timely, courteously, and effectively to support comprehensive patient care. In certain entities (BOS Urgent Cares), Lab Techs will support the TEAM CARE Model to ensure patient workflow efficiencies and satisfaction goals are met. The estimated pay range for this position is $32.60 - $42.38 per hour, depending on experience.

Degrees:
  • Associates Degree
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
Additional Qualifications:
  • External candidate requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Biological, Chemical, Physical, or related science as required by the State of Florida; no experience required.
  • Internal candidate requirements: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science as required by the State of Florida, with a minimum of two years technologist experience at BHSF and fulfilling appropriate career advancement criteria.
  • All candidates require a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in the appropriate discipline(s) with complete knowledge of medical technology theory and practice.
  • Certain entities (BOS Urgent Cares) will require BLS certification.
