Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare seeks a Medical Technologist to perform complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines and deliver accurate results that inform patient care. MLS/MT certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology are required.

As a Medical Technologist, you'll provide advanced laboratory testing and analysis that supports accurate diagnoses, treatment decisions, and positive patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform complex laboratory testing across multiple laboratory disciplines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
• Review, verify, and report laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of laboratory testing.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment to support efficient laboratory operations.
• Monitor testing accuracy, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Support laboratory workflow management by monitoring pending logs, prioritizing workload, and resolving operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely laboratory documentation, records, and reports.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance enhancement initiatives.
• Support regulatory compliance through adherence to laboratory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
