About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital (Royal Oak):

Opened on Jan. 24, 1955, as a 238-bed community hospital, now a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. It has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows, and is the exclusive clinical partner of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Scope of Work:

Performs routine or specialized tests and procedures for diagnosis and treatment in areas such as Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Immunohematology, Histocompatibility, Flow Cytometry, Molecular Pathology, Ancillary Testing, Microbiology, and others.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree with specific coursework in biology and chemistry, obtained within or in addition to the degree.
• Proof of completion of a clinical internship (NAACLS accredited or equivalent).
• Official ASCP BOC approval or eligibility to take the certification exam.
• Completion of a NAACLS accredited clinical internship or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCPi), or other acceptable credentials.

Location & Schedule:

Royal Oak Hospital, Lab - Molecular Pathology, Full-time, Evening shift, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, variable weekends.
