Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Medical Technologist to join its Clinical Pathology team in Madison, WI. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with overtime as needed. You will perform tests, validate results, maintain equipment, and ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in a busy laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and result reporting in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results through quality control, documentation, and corrective action processes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, laboratory policies, and safety procedures.
• Support laboratory operations through assay validations, inventory management, proficiency testing, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Medical Technologist Labcorp is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our Clinical Pathology team in Madison, WI! Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm flexibility to work overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and result reporting in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results through quality control, documentation, and corrective action processes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, laboratory policies, and safety procedures.
• Support laboratory operations through assay validations, inventory management, proficiency testing, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• ASCP certification (MT or MLT) Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science and completion of a 12-month Medical Technology training program

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• 1 year or more of experience performing clinical pathology testing, assay validation, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and regulatory compliance requirements.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $32/hr.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
