Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. is assisting a Hillsboro, IL health system in finding Medical Lab Technicians/MLS for full-time, permanent roles.

Openings include two positions in a hospital inpatient generalist setting with two shift options: nights Sun-Wed and evenings Mon-Fri. Pay ranges from $29–$44 per hour plus shift differentials, with an excellent benefits package including PTO, health insurance, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Associates / Bachelor Degree from qualifying programs for the ASCP MLS certification eligibility.
• Certification: MLT, MLS or Medical Technologist with the ASCP, or equivalent (NCA, AMT).
• Minimum 1 year of Generalist / Inpatient Medical Laboratory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive laboratory testing for patients with accurate and timely results.
• Analyze patient, control and proficiency testing specimens and record results promptly.
• Calibrate, maintain, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation and complete documentation.

• Full-time, Sun-Wed, Nights: varying 8hr and 12hr shifts (9:45pm-5:45am or 5:45pm-5:45am) – No on-call!
• Full-time, Mon-Fri, Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm - No on-call!

Pay

$29-44/hr base pay plus applicable shift differentials, plus an excellent benefits package.
