Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. seeks a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to provide quality diagnostic testing across specimens to support patient care.

You will perform and analyze tests, prepare reagents, calibrate instruments, and ensure safety and compliance with policies in a clinical laboratory setting. The role values strong teamwork, ability to train staff, and proficient use of computer systems for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field; ASCP eligible preferred.
• Pathways I-IV describe military or accredited training and certification eligibility.
• Experience in accredited labs is preferred; ideally over one year in the listed areas.

Role:

Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens to support healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities Include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field; ASCP eligible preferred.
• Pathway I: Medical Laboratory training from the U.S. Military or equivalent.
• Pathway II: Biological Science degree with accredited training and certification eligibility.
• Pathway III: Laboratory training from military, with relevant education and certification.
• Pathway IV: High school diploma or GED, with military medical lab training and related degrees.

Experience:

Preferably over one year in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Urinalysis in accredited labs.
